I challenged myself to create an application prototype using the Popular Pays app as a starting point and add a new tab that would feature a blog feed.
I started in Sketch to create the mockups and export assets. I decided to recreate the log in workflow. I added a blog feed button to the bottom navigation bar. I designed a page for the feed and a page for individual posts.
Once the mockups were completed in Sketch, I imported all of the assets into Principle to start working on the prototype. Principle is a great tool because of its integration to Sketch and its ease of use. If your Sketch file is organized and all of your layers are named properly, you'll have a prototype in minutes.
Final Product
Once all of the interactions are created in Principle, I can export a prototype to mobile devices to be tested and recorded.
A feed will display a list of the most recent blog posts.
Clicking on a post will bring you to the full post.
