User Interface & Web Design
Prototypes for application interfaces. Using Sketch and Illustrator, I create wireframes and high fidelity mockups. I then use prototyping software such as Principle or Invision to simulate interactions and animations.
NFL Experience - Interactives
I worked on designing, creating assets, and animating NFL Receivers and uniforms for two interactives at the NFL Experience. I modeled, textured, and animated a receiver from each of the 32 NFL teams as well as a football stadium environment.
Heineken - World Globe
I storyboarded and created assets for a touch screen application for Heineken's booth at the Ultra Music Festival. This three part experience included a registration tablet that took a users' information including country of origin. The main application then displays where all of the users are from on a big globe. The user then receives a link to a personalized microsite.
Hunger Games Exhibit - Game Maker's Table
For The Hunger Games Exhibit, I optimized, textured, and animated creatures and the environment from The Hunger Games world to be displayed on touch screen applications.
The Shedd Aquarium - Frog Projection Map
For the Shedd Aquarium's Amphibians exhibit, I textured and animated a 3d frog on a lily pad that was projected onto a frog statue. The frog has an idle animation along with 7 other animations that trigger when a user interacts with a touch-screen tablet. Those animations range from changing its skin color to viewing how a frog's digestive system works.
Warner Brothers Studio Tour
For the WB studio tour, I helped create two apps: Design a Costume, and Design a Batmobile. For Design a Costume, I illustrated over 100 costume items from different WB movies for users to mix and match onto their model. For Design a Batmobile, I 3d modeled, textured, and animated Batmobile parts for users to mix and match into a custom vehicle. Those parts include, tires, windows, fins, weapons, and bodies.
RSA - HoloLens Experience
For RSA, I storyboarded and created assets for a 3d HoloLens experience. The HoloLens is an augmented reality headset that places 3d holograms into the real-world environment.
ComEd - Training Center
For the Chicago ComEd Training Center, I designed 5 touch-screen apps that are used to teach children about generating electricity, how it is distributed, and the future of energy technology.
Marvel - Thor's Hammer
For Marvel, I storyboarded a touchscreen hammer game. I also 3d modeled and textured the environment to be used in the app. This app traveled with the Marvel Live Show.
Chicago History Museum - Mainbocher Name Game
I created storyboards and assets for an interactive at The Chicago History Museum Mainbocher Exhibit. Users enter their first and last name and the app generates brand names which the user is able to turn into a logo. They then receive their customized logo via email.
Project Renders
I visualize the end-product of a potential project to show clients what we intend to create. I come up with a concept, then 3d model, texture, light, and render final images.
Unity Assets
I created assets that are being sold on the Unity asset store. The process includes, 3d modeling, texturing, and animating assets. Then setting up the assets into a usable scene within Unity game engine.
